The Town of Mead was operating its public works and police department out of an old yard and needed more space to more efficiently serve the town’s citizens. A new public works maintenance and operations facility is under construction with completion anticipated in July. The building is a one-story pre-engineered metal building with mezzanine. The facility includes a shop, four service bays, equipment storage, offices, lockers, restrooms, and a training/conference room. The project also includes related site development, grading, drainage, utilities, on-site wastewater treatment system, paving, landscaping, and irrigation.
