The physician’s lounge at the North Suburban Medical Center was no longer large enough to accommodate the staff and needed an upgrade. This project involved demolition of the existing lounge, expanding the space to remodel into a larger, modern, and more functional space for physician use.

The lounge is located on the basement (ground) floor of the hospital. Adjacent spaces were occupied and active during construction. The work included tie ins to the existing mechanical/electrical systems. This work needed to be completed off hours as the suite is adjacent to the hospital’s main cafeteria.
