Project Overview

Longmont, CO

Build out of a new catheterization lab suite, which included cardiovascular and interventional radiology surgery rooms, as well as a seven-bed prep/recovery area which included an isolation room. These remodels were completed in a fully operational 24/7/365 hospital.

This project also included BIM modeling and integration.

Work included demolition, interior helical piers and structural steel, modification and extension of plumbing, HVAC, medical gases, electrical power and lighting, fire suppression sprinklers, fire alarm, telephone, and security system.

This was a two-phase project. The first phase included a complete remodel and completion of the cardiovascular surgery room, prep/recover area, locker rooms, and waiting room area. Phase 2 included completion of the interventional radiology room while the current cardiovascular surgery room remained operational. 75% of the work was completed through an exterior window to minimize operational impacts on the remaining suite.
