Project Overview

Denver, CO

Inspiration Point Park, originally built in 1910, is a 25.5-acre park situated on a bluff that provides a view of nearly 200 miles of the front range of the Rocky Mountains, as well as the entire City of Denver.
KCI completed construction on this project to restore a portion of the historic wall and improve the western park overlook, install a new playground set within the existing, native landscape, construct a new picnic site with a shade pavilion, improve the parking area accessibility, and create a traffic calming circle.
This project was the culmination of several years of careful planning as well as community outreach and engagement to provide unique play experiences, repair the historic concrete wall, and improve the ecology of the natural areas that comprise the character of the park.
