The Clara Brown Entrepreneurial Academy was launched in 2022 as a K-8 magnet school in the Aurora Public Schools metropolitan area. To transition this school into an academy, Aurora Public Schools planned a phased remodel. The remodel included upgrades to the HVAC, electrical lighting and power, casework in the new art room and staff lounge, plumbing fixtures, two new accessible staff restrooms, classrooms remodeled into an art room, staff room expansion, nurse’s station expansion, six new small group classrooms, concrete floor leveling in art room, steel stud framing, drywall and paint, new acoustical ceilings, and new VCT flooring and paint in the cafeteria.
