Parishioners Celebrate Opening of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Longmont

The St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Longmont was the first Catholic Church building to open in this city in more than 130 years.

Krische Construction completed the 18,000-square-foot church building in time to accommodate the grand opening, appropriately scheduled on the feast day for St. Francis. The new church includes a sanctuary that can seat almost 500, a narthex, classrooms, offices, and a fellowship hall.
