Ascension Catholic Church Addition

Ascension Catholic Church was originally built in the 1970s. The parish has also had some additions over the years. To better serve the families who worship there, the church needed to expand its capacity.

In 2009, Integration Design Group began working with the parish leadership to develop a phased plan for growth. Changes that were considered included an expanded Nave, the addition of 250 seats, a new Sanctuary, a new chapel, and classroom space.

In February 2013, Krische Construction began work on the addition and renovation project. Church operations needed to remain operational during construction. The 1,300-square-foot addition includes a one-story on-grade expansion of restrooms, updated interior finishes of the church, and an extension of the fire systems to the new areas.
